		<description>I figured out how to swap sound devices. In the Ubuntu/Mythbuntu desktop, type ALT-F2. This brings up a popup where you can type &quot;gnome-sound-properties&quot; where you can swap the sound devices. You can also type &quot;gnome-volume-control&quot; which allows you to adjust the volume settings for all devices. All are enabled and set to highest volume. Still no audio over HDMI. :-(</description>

if i use alsamixer and crank everything up to the max volume, i can hear audio through the headphone jack, but nothing through the digital (spdif) output.
