At least we have a clean house! We met with two agents last week who pretty much showed us the numbers and figures that if we were to try to sell right now, chances are that we would take a loss based on how the market around Schaumburg is combined with all the closing costs. So, I think Jamie and I are here in Chicago till after Christmas. They said that listing the house around January is when everybody starts to really start looking for houses to move into in the April/May area. Since we’re not on any strict timeline, I think that’s how this all is going to shake down. Jamie applied for some jobs last week so I think we’ll plant our feet just a little bit for the time being and delay the move.
If anybody wants to see a very clean house though, you gotta come over. The carpets look much better than before, not immaculate, but really clean. Everything’s pretty picked up, etc. I am definitely the clean freak and Jamie is the let Matt clean freak. 🙂 Man, having the house like it is right now keeps my stress level low, I love it! Only thing is if you do come over, you’re gonna hafta take your shoes off…but all are welcome!
